JAMMU & KASHMIR Curbs In Nowhatta Area Of Downtown On Slain Militant's Second Anniversary | KNO REPRESENTATION PHOTO Published 366 weeks ago on July 12, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Srinagar, July 12 (KNO) : Authorities have imposed restrictions in Nowhatta area of downtown on the second death anniversary of slain militant Sajad Ahmed Gilkar Alias Sajad Bila as a precautionary measure, officials told KNO. "Restrictions have been imposed under section 144 at Nowhatta to maintain peace," an official told KNO. Witnesses said that heavy deployment of forces was also made in the area since morning to enforce curbs. They said it is unlikely that authorities would allow congregational Friday prayers.
